Pricy for what you get
Unless this kettle is going to sit on your counter and look good I would opt for something else. As the other reviewer pointed out,
CONS
1. when you fill it up too much it leaks from the bottom.
2. you have no way of telling how full it is
3. impossible to clean
4. Very pricey
PROS
1. It looks good
How much water is in there?
I received this beautifully designed kettle for Christmas. I was looking forward to use it as you don't have to plug and unplug it all the time. It sits on a base. Unfortunately, there are 2 major flaws with it:
1. There is no gage or meter or window that shows how much water I have in the kettle.
2. If I add too much water in it, when I go to put in on the base, the water litteraly leaks and drips profusely from the bottom part of the kettle.
How could they not think of putting some sort of gage to show how much water is in there?
If you have one of those and yours don't leak, please let me know.
Very disappointed!!!
