Meat Grinder
We purchased the grinder through Amazon.com. We ground 500 lbs. of meat into hamburger and run it through twice. It only plugged twice and that was our fault. We were really impressed with what it could do for it's size.

New 1 HP MTN Meat Grinder
The ones who consider buying the grinder for home use should know it is not a home kitchen appliance. This thing is big, 42 Lb, 18" long and 16" tall. Motor diameter is about 7.5". But that is what you get when you buy 1 HP motor. It sits in my garage. It grinds fast, it went trough 15 Lb of pork in less than 5 min. It is quiet. I use to have a Waring Pro. That thing was extremely noisy, had to use ear plugs. Workmansip is not the best, lots of sharp edges, contrary to the product description, lots of imperfections. Made using lots of manual welding, grinding and polishing. All this things do not matter much because grinder works fine. Only time will show how reliable it is. My biggest problem with it is that you can't remove easily the grinding tube for cleaning. It is attached to the motor body using 6 x M6 Allen head screws. You need special tool to remove and clean. Do not know if the motor is water thight and if can be washed without removing. I replaced the six screws with 3...
