Bella 13600 Coffee Maker, 12 Cup

Rugged Little Machine
This Bella Coffee Maker has already been discontinued, I think; but I found mine at JC Penney when my third Cuisinart in 3 years died. I paid $50 dollars and decided to give it a whirl.

The coffee filter is shaped a little differently from all others, but will take a #4 triangular type filter. The machine comes supplied with a permanent filter that works BETTER than every "gold" filter I've ever used. Period. No grounds get through at all.

A Cuisinart *will* make a -slightly- better cup of coffee, at twice or three times the price of this little gem. The Bella has a pause feature, and keeps your coffee warm for 2 hours after you brew it. It doesn't give you a choice as to how hot, or for how long (my Cuisinart did).

I'm giving this coffee maker four stars for making an excellent cup of coffee, for having a really great permanent filter, and for being lefty-friendly - all for $50.

Replacement parts are unavailble through Bella!
I purchased a Bella Coffe Maker (CM 4201 A)on March 12, 2013 at Macy's. I broke the glass pot. It is virtually impossible to find this part. I called Sensioinc, the distributors of this Coffee Maker. I was told the part will not be available for 6 weeks. No one took my name or address or email to inform me when. In the meantime, I have gone on-line and several stores to no avail. I would take precaution when purchasing this item.
